This phone is from china and cannot be unlocked unless you use Mi Unlock.
Since this phone is from China they have completed stopped and banned unlocking phones
You can either create an xiaomi account from china if for whatever reason you have a chinese number but that may not work either
Your only option is using MTKClient and these are the steps:

Before you download these you might need to download UsbDk Runtime Libraries
UsbDk Runtime Libraries
- UsbDk Runtime Libraries refer to the runtime components of UsbDk (USB Development Kit), a low-level USB access framework primarily used on Windows.
You will also need to download MTK Driver Installer
MTK Driver Auto Installer is a tool designed to simplify the installation of MediaTek (MTK) USB drivers on Windows computers, essential for tasks like flashing firmware using SP Flash Tool.
It supports a wide range of Windows versions, including Windows XP to Windows 11, and automatically installs critical drivers such as VCOM, Preloader, CDC, and ADB without manual intervention.

Steps:
- Run the MTK Driver Auto Installer .exe file
- Don’t Panic when you see it uninstalling and installing devices
- Once that is done extract the MTKClient .zip file and run the .bat file
- It will ask you to download USB Development Kit or UsbDk
- Once that is done choose “1 - Unlock bootloader”
- Power off your device
- Hold all the buttons on your device and connect your phone - this usually means power off, volume up and volume down buttons
- Let it recognize your device is connected
- Press Enter to continue
- Aaaaaand youre done!!*
You have finally unlocked your china phone model
For this model specifically (Poco X3 GT/Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China) , if you are planning on flashing a global rom, you need to leave bootloader unlocked or else the rom will not load at all.
